Characteristics:

Working Principle:
The working principle of the HDPE roller cylindrical lathe is similar to that of the ordinary lathe, mainly through the relative motion between the tool and workpiece to achieve the cutting of the HDPE roller outer circle. The spindle of the lathe drives the HDPE roller to rotate, and the tool carries on the feed movement along the direction of axis and radial to cut the outer circle of the roller by the edge of the tool, and therefore the aim of acquiring the needed dimensions and shape is achieved.
Primary Structure:
- Spindle System: It includes the spindle, bearings, transmission device, etc. Its role is to drive the HDPE roller to rotate and to provide the turning processing needed power and revolving speed.
- Feeding System: It is composed of a servo motor, ball screw, and others and is responsible for controlling the precision feeding movement of the tool along the direction of the axis and the radius of the roller. Whereas the precision of processing dimensions and the surface quality are just determined by the accuracy and response speed of the feeding system.
Tool Holder System: It is used for installation and fixture of the cutter to achieve the rapid replacement and accurate adjustment of the cutter. It has multiple tool positions, and different tools can be selected for cutting according to the processing needs. At the same time, the tool holder has good rigidity and precision to safeguard the stability and accuracy of the tool during turning processing.
Control System: It’s the core of the machine and is responsible for the control of the cooperative work of all parts of the machine to achieve the automation and accurate control of the machining process. It adopts the advanced CNC technology by which the control system can control the spindle speed, feed speed, tool position, etc., according to the parameters and instructions that operators input through the operation panel to achieve the accurate processing of the HDPE roller outer circle.
