Roller DTII seal
The labyrinth seal of the DTII roller is a non-contact seal structure that prevents dust, moisture and other pollutants from entering the bearing chamber through a complex channel design. It is widely used in belt conveyor systems. The labyrinth seal forms a tortuous channel (i.e., a "maze") by setting staggered annular grooves between the roller end cover and the shaft. When pollutants try to enter, they are required to go through multiple turns and throttling. The kinetic energy is dissipated in the vortex and eventually deposited in the channel, unable to enter the bearing chamber. This design avoids the wear problem of contact seals and is suitable for harsh working conditions.
